Fibos technology utilizes light within an optical fiber cable for all our sensor measurements, and as a result, our sensors are immune to electromagnetic interference (EMI). Our sensors are non-conductive and electrically isolated, allowing measurements to be performed within high electromagnetic fields such as within electrical transformers or motors.

Fibos provides a unique optical solution for ultra-high temperature (UHT) sensing that can gather data previously unreachable. With the Optical Gauge Sensor (OGS) and Optical Gauge Amplifier (OGA), static and dynamic strain and temperature measurements can be made continuously in environments up to 1,000°C (1,830°F). This extended temperature range enables pressure, vibration, and temperature transducers to be deployed in applications that were previously constrained by electrical sensing technology.
